Step (Precision Step Teams)   Wednesdays and Saturdays (please see schedule for times)

Ages 9- 18 A rhythmic dance art! Stepping uses the entire body as a percussive instrument. The Bolden Academy students learn the foundations of  the stepping genre. We offer a beginner/intermediate and advanced levels.

Kidz Kamp w/Ms. Christa   Mondays  6:00pm - 6:45pm

Ages 6 - 11

Creative Dance classes focus on the joy of moving and the exploration of creative ideas through movement.  The class includes age-appropriate technique or exercises for the whole body.  It introduces the beginner dancer to ways to move through space like galloping, skipping, sliding, running, leaping, jumping and hopping.  Dancers explore shape and space, rhythm and songs, qualities of moving, and many forms of literature.  Teachers introduce jazz, ballet, and hip hop vocabulary and techniques, that they creatively weave into the dance class.  Our Kidz Kamp students learn to be independent and to interact with a teacher and their peers.

Attire Black Leotard, Tan Tights, Black Tap Shoes, Black Ballet Slippers & Hair in a Ponytail or Ballet Bun
